NDIS Check Ins

Check-ins are your chance to ensure your plan is working just right for you. Here’s the lowdown.

Why Check-In?

Check-ins help confirm that you have the right supports and that your plan meets your needs. It’s all about making sure you’re set up for success!

When Will You Get a Check In?

You can expect check-ins:

• Annually (like a yearly catch-up!)

• Before your plan reassessment date

• If funding usage changes, and also

• When you request one

What Happens During a Check-In?

During your check-in, your NDIS contact will chat with you about:

• How you’re feeling and any questions you have

• Your progress toward goals

• How you’re using local services and supports, and then,

• Any changes in your situation

Will Your Plan Change?

• If everything’s going great: Your plan stays just as it is!

• If you need more help: they can talk about getting you some extra support.

• If your plan isn’t quite right: They’ll discuss how to adjust it to better fit your needs.

An important note to consider is,

Sometimes, the NDIA might need to check your eligibility based on what is discussed. However, —you’ll have time to share any info if you still need support.
